An overview of thermoplastic single ply roofing systems including a discussion of the characteristics of major players and what issues to consider when specifying a commercial roofing system.

Energy Studies, Codes & the Sustainable Roof

A summary of recent studies and research on reflective roofing products and their environmental impacts. Topics include sustainable design issues for roofing products relative to codes and regulations, and life cycle costs and their impact on building design.

An overview of single ply roofing installation methods, seaming and inspection, and a review of insulation types.

Roofing Education

An overview of thermoplastic roofing membranes, including history; a comparison study of roofing membranes in relationship to polymer thickness; the importance of having a certain amount of polymer thickness above the reinforcement scrim; water adsorption; linear dimension change, energy savings and UL fire testing.
